Mobile Scaffolding Information Request

Can anyone please provide information on mobile scaffolding? What is the maximum height of a mobile scaffolding? Is there a calculation for this? If anybody has any document regarding mobile scaffolding, please provide it to me.

Thanks and regards,

Dear Vamsi, Mobile scaffold comes under tower scaffold. Tower scaffold can be stationary or mobile. There is no law in the world specifying the height of a tower scaffold. CFR (OSHA) permits a 1 base:4 height ratio for stationary/mobile tower scaffolds, whereas CITB specifies the ratio as 1:3.5 for scaffolds used inside buildings and 1:3 for use outside buildings. No tower should be built with a base dimension of less than 1.2 meters. In almost every construction site, the 1:4 ratio is commonly practiced.

For further information needed, please specify, and I may be able to guide you.

Mr. Kesava Pillai has given you very good tips. You can also try browsing through the Cite HR archives. Type "Mobile Scaffolding" inside the box that reads "WHAT DO YOU NEED." Then press the 'research' button next to it. Browse through to see if you find what you need.
