Like each employee has their working style, they also have a vacation style. Outside their work environment, there are many other interests people nurture, and they are usually left to their discretion. Many progressive organizations are focusing on engaging in customized holiday plans for groups, and it works wonders. Work-related travel is an opportunity for many, but what they find challenging is planning and enjoying vacations with their families. This is one of the reasons why employees find it challenging to maintain a balance between their work and life, resulting in a disturbed work-life balance. While at work, they get to enjoy, collaborate, make friends, etc. Annual picnics, conferences, meetings, and business travel take them to places; however, their families are left behind. Many organizations, as part of their "employee engagement practice," invest in vacation programs where they are also able to connect with employees' families.
