Dear Seniors,

If a person is drawing 22,000/= gross and he is a fresher, I want to know if he can be exempt from PF. Kindly clarify.

Out of the Rs. 22,000, how much is the basic + DA? If it is equal to or below Rs. 15,000, it is statutory to register with PF.
