PF Deduction Issue in Private School

I am a teacher in a private English medium school where my PF was deducted for a period of 5 months in 2003-04, for which I also received a PF slip from the department. I left the school thereafter to pursue my BEd and joined the same school in July 2006 after a brief stint of 3 months in another school where my PF was not deducted. My PF has not been deducted since then in my present job where I am serving my 9th year.

Is the school justified in not deducting my PF, and what can I do to get it deducted? Moreover, how can I claim the already deducted amount?

Regards
Ddoaba
Did you withdraw the PF when you left the job for the first time? You may clarify this as well.

Did your employer convey any reason for not covering you in PF all these 9 years?

This is in reference to 514579. I didn't withdraw my PF at any time till now. Prior to my rejoining, I worked in another school for a period of 3 months where my PF was not being deducted. This was the reason given by my present employers for not deducting my PF as well.

Thank you.
