How Can I Withdraw My PF When My Former Employer Can't Submit Required Forms?

rrajur87
I worked for a company for around 2.3 years. I have submitted my documents to withdraw the PF amount. Now the company is closed (but not legally). I have obtained the employer's signature and completed all the formalities to withdraw the PF. However, after submitting the documents, the PF authorities rejected my application due to non-submission of the 3A and 6A forms to the department.

The employer is currently unable to submit the aforementioned documents. Is there any other way to retrieve my PF amount in this situation?

Note: The PF contributions were paid accurately by the employer during the period I worked, even after I left the company.

Your valuable answer is highly appreciated.

Thank you,

How to Register a Complaint at the P.F. Office

Now, you can register a complaint at the P.F. Office on simple paper and take a receiving copy for the same. After this, the P.F. Inspector/Commissioner will work on the same.

It should be a simple thing to get the 3A and 6A forms from the company and submit the same. They must have the older records with them. They should allow you to take a photocopy.

Steps to Address Non-Submission of Forms by Employer

The forms that are to be submitted by the employer can be extracted by the RPFC if they are not submitted. Meet the RPFC in person with a written complaint and obtain acknowledgment with a diary number. Pursue through RTI.
