Understanding Earned Leave: How Many Days Should Be Credited Monthly and Annually?

I am working as a senior HR officer in a registered company. I would like to know how many earned leaves are credited in an annual year and how many days are credited for one month, i.e., earned leave/days in a month. In my company, we provide 2.5 days of earned leave per month, totaling 30 days per year. Could you please provide clarification on the above points?

Every worker who has worked for a period of 240 days or more in a factory during a calendar year shall be allowed, during the subsequent calendar year, leave with wages for a number of days calculated at the rate of:

a) If an adult, one day for every twenty days of work performed by him during the previous calendar year;

b) If a child, one day for every fifteen days of work performed by him during the previous calendar year.
