Greetings to all fellow members, I'm in a real mess and need your guidance on the same. After my graduation, I joined a small startup company (let's call it XYZ) in Noida. They were genuine at that moment, and proper software development work used to take place in that company. I worked there for 7 months. I was not falling under the tax scale in my first company (XYZ), so I don’t have Form 16, but I have all other documents like the appointment letter, relieving letter, salary slips, etc.
Later, I got an offer from a well-established company (let's call it ABC) in Bengaluru. Now, I'm ready to join my third organization, which is an MNC (let's call it PQR).
But yesterday, I got to know from one of my friends that my first company, XYZ, has started providing training to job seekers on software development and some sort of fake experience as well because their business was not doing well as a company. The resume I submitted to my third company, PQR, mentions my first company's experience. After knowing about the scam my first company is involved in, I want to withdraw that experience from my profile.
Should I Inform My New Company’s HR?
My question is: Should I inform my new company’s (PQR) HR about this problem? I don't want to leave any negative impression on them, and I don't want to get fired later at some point after I join them during background verification. Please guide me.
Regards.
