Training Programs For Diploma Engineers

SurajD
Hello, We have been approached by an Auto ancillary company to help them train the diploma engineering candidates that they select from campus every year. The company wants us a develop a special program for these trainees which will cover various perspectives and job skills required at the technician level. We have drafted a proposal comprising of some of our standard training programs, however, I would like to seek some expert opinions here so that we can give justice to the job and help the trainees as well to perform better in the given job. Your earliest replies shall be highly appreciated.

Dear Suraj,
If you have made some content then you should have uploaded the outline here. Without this information, how we will know what is included and what is excluded?
Thanks,

Hi,
Basically what we have chalked out are following training sessions:
1. Communication skills
2. 5S & KAIZEN techniques
3. Standard operating procedures (this will be developed with the help of company HR)
4. Quality circle
5. Customer service skills (for both internal and external customers)
6. Team building
We are typically engaged in executive level training programs and hence, we intend to tweak these programs to make it understandable for the technician level. However, I am still not sure if I have missed out most necessary perspectives and hence, I would like to have your views on this.

First of all the new recruits must be oriented towards Customer Focus.
Their KRA and Job Responsibilities must be freezed and then the topics
for training can be freezed for better results.

Dear SD,
Your understanding with regard to employees needs together with company HR is only criteria to go about. It is fair enough, contents are also common for the targeted audience.
I suggest, you can take up Value, vision workshops with intention to align individuals beliefs and perceptions with corporate work culture. You will also get to know thirst and hunger during sessions that will emerge out of interactions with participants and on regular discussions with MANAGEMENT PEOPLE.
