Revised Factory Licence Fee for Maharashtra State
Please find the revised (increased) Factory Licence Fee for Maharashtra State with effect from 2013. A copy of the notification is attached here for download.
Every factory with a valid license for 2013 and onwards must pay the difference fee due to the increase for 2013 and onwards before October 2013 to the department without any late fee. A late fee is applicable at a rate of 5% from November 2013 onwards for every month, with a maximum late fee of 25% for the current and next year only. The late fee is not applicable for advance renewal for future periods.
The chart displays the old rate, new rate, and the yearly difference for easy reference.
Payment should be made via cheque/pay order in Mumbai City in favor of "Director, Industrial Safety & Health." In other zones, payment should be deposited in the State Bank of India via Treasury Challan in favor of the State Bank of India on Account of Joint Director, Industrial Safety & Health.
