Please enlighten me on the legal requirements regarding safe assembly points, such as the distance from the organization's building and the amount of area to be allotted based on the number of employees.

As far as I am concerned, distance is not a concern. However, please keep in mind that all the people should be assembled at an open place that is easily accessible and has a nearby escape route in case of emergencies turning into disasters. In such situations, all assembled people should leave the place promptly.

The best location would be near the entry/exit gate at ground level.

If the matter goes to court regarding the assembly of workers for shouting slogans or going on strike, the court may issue an order restricting the assembly within 100 meters of the company premises.
