Worried About NASSCOM Finding Short Job Stints via PAN Card? Let's Discuss!

Kabilan_sta
Hi all, three years ago, I worked in a company for 2 months and then resigned to join another MNC. In that old company, they paid tax for the 2 months and provided me with the Form 16. Now, I am applying for other jobs, but I don't want to mention the 2 months of employment.

Tracking Employment History

Will NASSCOM track my 2 months of employment using my PAN card since I paid tax for that period? Unless I mention it, will NASSCOM be able to find my previous employment?

Please, can anyone clarify?

NASSCOM, the National Association of Software and Service Companies, does not have the authority to access individual employment records through PAN cards without proper disclosure. However, it's essential to note that tax filings and associated documents like Form 16 can be cross-referenced by relevant authorities during audits or investigations. If you choose not to disclose your brief employment history, there is no direct mechanism for NASSCOM to independently track this information without your explicit mention. It's advisable to provide accurate and complete information during job applications to avoid any discrepancies or issues in the future.
