Worried About Explaining My Company's Lack of Website to HR During Job Switch? Need Advice!

MANISH4788
I am working at XXX Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, for the last 2.5 years. This is a very small company with an employee count of 22 in the Software Section, and it doesn't have a website. However, it is a registered company, and anyone can get its information from MCA21 : Company/LLP Master Data.

I want to switch to another company, so I am worried because if HR asks for its website, what should I say to them? If I say that my company doesn’t have a website, they may think there is something wrong and could cancel my candidature. A software company that has clients in the USA but doesn't have a website might be perceived negatively.

Company Details

Name: Trust House Technical Services Pvt Ltd

Registered Office: Hyderabad

Departments

1. Software Department: Software Development (it has clients in the USA) — Total number of employees: 22

2. Electrical Department: Provides services for Industrial UPS and DC systems for various brands — Total number of employees: 15 (approx.)

Can you suggest what I should do? Can I get a good job in an MNC? How will HR react in this type of situation? Please help me.

Thank you.

Regards,
Manish

If you are looking for a job change, please do not worry about your current company's website. During the interview, the interviewer will not ask you about your company's website. However, you should be able to talk about your company's business, services, company turnover, clients, number of employees, and its location/branches. You can secure a good job based on your performance during the interview, so be prepared to face interviews. All the best.

Sumeet
