Is Annamalai University's Industrial Safety Course Enough for Tamil Nadu Safety Officer Certification?

Hi all, is Annamalai University - Industrial Safety (Distance Education Course) a certified course for becoming a safety officer in Tamil Nadu? If not, kindly suggest any part-time or distance course in industrial safety that is approved by the Tamil Nadu Factories Rule. Hope you reply at the earliest.

Requirements for Safety Officer Recruitment

As per the Factories Act, a candidate must have a degree in ME-Industrial Safety Engineering from a Government-approved institution under the Ministry of Labor and Employment. Additionally, a PG Diploma in Industrial Safety from RLI, Chennai, or CLI, Mumbai, is required. These criteria will be taken into consideration in industries when recruiting Safety Officers.
