Regarding Rules For Overtime

I want to know that overtime is mandatory statutory compliance or not for service industries. Please clarify ASAP.

Dear Rishi,
overtime is hours above normal working hours. So it is applicable to all processes and industries as per statutory compliance. Now how many hrs , what rates , when can do , who can do , what time is allowed for whom etc are laid out in various acts/rules. If you can ask Specific question , we an give you better answer.
