Hi all, please find enclosed the gazette notification issued by the central government on online Bonus Returns and the change in the due date for submission of returns. I am not sure about the guidelines. If any member has more information on the same, please update here, which will be a great help for all.

Hi All, Please refer to the attached Notification under the Payment of Bonus Act. This is to inform you that by G.S.R No. 1115(E) dated 6th December 2016, the sub-rule (1) of Rule 5 of the Payment of Bonus Rules providing for the submission of Return under Form D (In Unified Annual Return Form-electronically) is omitted due to difficulty in filling/completing the tedious, complicated, and unrealistic form on the web portal.

As per Rule 5, Sub-rule (2), the due date for filing the return is 1st February 2018 (see 2nd attachment).
