Hi All,
Need advice from you all regarding a problem in job front.
I have decided to quit a job of which I am a veteran of around 2.5 year. The reason for quitting is that in the month of July'2014 they have restructured the organisation and put me in a job role which is not to my liking.
In the process of restructure,my previous boss also resigned(I had worked with him for 2 years).
Now I have a boss who is from other vertical and therefore our interactions are minimal.
I searched around for jobs and got one with a more ethical group of companies.I intimated the fact of resignation to my present boss first over phone. He asked for two days time as he was out of town.
After two days I called him and we had a long chat.He contineously asked me not to resign.Still then I put the resignation letter through e-mail. He replied "Your resignation is not accepted".
I called him after 1 hour and tried to convince him to relieve me.He denied.Still then I put another e-mail stating I don't want to continue with them. He again replied "Your resignation is not accepted"
In this regard, require your advice what should I do?
My new employer wants me to submit the resignation acceptance letter.
Please help.
