Maximum Age for Non-Deduction of PF

In most cases, the maximum age for non-deduction of PF is around 58 or 60 years, depending on the specific rules and regulations of the provident fund scheme. If PF deductions occur after reaching this age limit, there could be various consequences such as additional tax implications, penalties, or complications in the withdrawal process. It is essential for individuals to be aware of the applicable rules regarding PF deductions based on their age to avoid any unwanted outcomes in the future.

To my knowledge, there is no age restriction regarding the remittance of PF. However, pension contributions have to cease on the day of completion of 58 years of age.
