How Should I Handle a New Job Offer When They Demand I Start in Just One Week?

Hi all, I have been working in an IT firm with a 1-month notice period for the last 3 years. I received an offer letter from another company, and they want me to join them in a week. I discussed this with my current manager, and they agreed to reduce my notice period to 20 days. I informed the new company about this, but they still insist on me joining within a week. I am unsure why they are in such a hurry. If they are really interested, shouldn't they be able to wait for 20 days?

I have developed a good relationship with my current company over the past 3 years, and I do not want to betray their trust. I am in a dilemma. Please advise me on what I should do now as soon as possible.
