Ofcourse we understand your real name is Ankit S.Chauhan whereas in the EPF A/c. it's given as "Ankit Singh" . First of all which is correct you have to confirm. As others have guided, first change your name in the PF A/c. then you should go for the claim. If you club both at the same time you will land into problem. Even if they send the payment you'll have problem while encashing thru' your bank a/c. How about your service records, first check that whether your name is correctly recorded there. Why you slept over the matter so long. You are supposed to get your PF a/c. statement every year and any discrepancies should have been corrected then & there itself. How many years you served in this organisation, did you change organisations anytime in the past ?. I'm surprised how come an employee could ignore discrepancy in the name itself for so long ! I request All the friends check your service records and your bank/PF a/cs and ensure that there are no mistakes, discrepancies even in spelling.
