Can My Employer Refuse to Pay Me After Termination Due to Medical Leave? Seeking Advice

vicky.gk
I have joined the company, and after 15 days, I had to take a 15-day leave due to fever. I submitted my medical certificate on the same day to my supervisor, but the company terminated me from my position and did not give me my 15 days' salary. What should I do? Can an employer withhold salary or refuse to pay me? Please help me with this matter.

Was your attendance for those 15 days noted somewhere in hard or soft copy? If yes, you can address the matter. If not, how can you claim that you were employed there?

If yes, you can send a letter by RPAD to the office address, detailing the facts. In the closing paragraph, please mention that if the payment is not made within 3 working days, you will be compelled to approach the Government Labour Officer of your area.
