Gratuity - Limited Company

I have joined a private limited company in the year 2008 Feb and my day of leaving 31.10.2014 and my basic is 4890. How much Will I get a gratuity amount ? Pls help

Hi Sir, 2008 Means, which month??? and what is your last basic salary??
gratuity calculation is: Last Basic salary/26*15*year is services.
Note: If your services 6 year,6 month and 1 day or More, calculate as 7 year services.

You may take no. of years as 7.

Calculation as per Gratuity Act : 4890/26*15*7
U will be get Rs.19748/-

From Feb 2008 to Jan 2014 you have completed 6 years & period from Jan to Oct 2014 does not qualify as year as the working days do not amount to 240. Hence you will get gratuity that should be calculated as follows: 4890 / 26 days = Rs. 188.08. You will get gratuity for 90 days (@15 days for 6 years) 188.08*90= Rs. 16927.20
