IS PF Deduction Is Mandatory To Employees?

Hi HR personnel,
I am new to HR domain, i joined a small sized company 1 week ago as HR executive. they are going to start PF deduction from next month. i want to know is it mandatory if my basic pay is 10,000. Please reply.

Yes for basic salary which is equal t or less than 15000 it is mandatory to deduct PF.
This is one of best employee benefit scheme every month yours money will be double, now days EPF also earning good rate of interest.
It is my suggestion join this scheme.

if your organisation's employee strength is 20 or more, in that case, it is mandatory to deduct PF and also to contribute for all the employees whose basic or basic + DA salary is Rs. 15000 or less.
