Can an employee be sacked on non-performance grounds without any notice, immediately on the spot?
Case analysis: This employee is a supervisor of a small process in the production unit, and his carelessness has caused major problems in production. Can he be sent home without any notice, show-cause notice, etc.? There are lots of complaints against him for misconduct with employees, though not complained about by the workers themselves.
