While uploading employees' names in the Electronic Challan cum Return (ECR) process by a colleague of mine, a mistake occurred.
Scenario
1) There are a few employees who were above the ceiling limit of PF and were not supposed to be in PF (as agreed upon by the employer and employee). However, by mistake, their accounts have been created in the PF Portal and Electronic Challan cum Return (ECR) generated under their names.
Please suggest on the following:
a) How to edit the employee data (name, DOB, Nominee details) from the PF portal where Electronic Challan cum Return (ECR) has been done under their names.
b) Is it possible to delete employee data from ECR?
Please provide your input on any alternate solutions to this.
