LABOUR LICENSE / REGISTERS

HI. Can any one please advice me that our company is a Pvt Ltd company and nature of Service is \"Consulting Services\" NO.of Staff - 35. in Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. My query is - Whether we require Labour Licenses?. Presently we are paying Professional TAx. Also whether if we are not required Labour Licenses, we need to maintain any registers. if yes, pls give me a list of registers.

Dear Sir,
as per act if you are engaging on contract basis with other establishment then you have to register under contract labour act.
but as per shops and establishment you have too maintain some registers under the act viz : Muster cum wages register, leave register damage register fine register Bonus register etc.

As per the Andra Predesh contract labour rules if you have more than 5 employees working as contract labourer and if you are a contractor then you have to take contract labour license. If you are principal employer then you have to take principal employer license.
If the contract labour license is not applicable then you have to maintain register under all the Labour Laws applicable.

Thanks for the info, Also can you please advice as per the Shops & Establishment Act, what are all the registers to be maintained and if possible please give the details of the vendor who is selling the registers in Hyderabad Location.

If you have an office in hydrabad then you has to take registration under Shops and Commercial Establishment Act. We have persons in hydrabad who can help you in this regard and help you obtain all the labour law compliances on a monthly basic.
