Seeking Recommendations for Top Distance Learning HR Programs and Essential MS Office Skills

I want to pursue a distance learning program in Human Resources. Please suggest a good institute for the same. Also, please let me know what MS Office skills are required in Human Resources.

When it comes to pursuing a Distance MBA, IGNOU is the safest option. However, there are also alternatives like SCDL (Symbiosis), SMU (Sikkim Manipal), IMT Ghaziabad, etc. Private institutes often face issues regarding their recognition from DEC (Distance Education Council), which has its offices at IGNOU. Nonetheless, many individuals opt for programs at SCDL and other private institutes to enhance their careers.

My personal recommendation would be to err on the side of caution and choose an MBA from IGNOU or any other government university.

MS Office skills required in HR are the same as in any other profession. You should know Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excel is most important since HR works with a lot of data, and knowledge of PowerPoint is required since HR needs to do a lot of presentations as well.
