Company Not Releasing PF

musak
Hi Team,
I worked with wipro in 2010 for 7 months and i gave resignation and submitted my id card also however it was on the spot resignation and i didnt serve notice period.
Now wipro wants me to pay some amount if i want to get my PF.
Please explain is this some policy or should they stamp and forward my pf docs to EPFO for processing without any such hassels.

Please come with full details. Why on the spot resignation. On what account they are seeking dues from you.will they be payable to them by you. It is a strategic approach on the part of WIPRO. Please comply the relieving formalities, if any is pending on your side.

PF is not under the control of any employer, not even Wipro.
There are ways to get PF withdrawn that is explained in this forum many times over. Just use the search Command and you will get your answer
SGK INDIA INDUSTRIAL SERVICES(P)LTD
If you have PF unique no. and cleared KYC then you may apply online for PF Withdrawn.

Dear All,
We all know that we HR people suffer from spot resignation. We also fight with management for spot termination. So my point is that why we encourage this kind of issue. 1st HR people should have to follow this kind of rules of the organization than we can expect any thing from employer. I know that PF is no right of employer but in case of spot resignation employer will take this kind of action.
Please go and fulfill your reliving formality.

Dear Maheshji,
I know spot resignation is not good i did it cos i was just ou of college and never realised at that point of time that its going to impact my resume in future, however is it ok for an organization to take such kind of action(pay notice period salary to get PF released)? if i got to them they ask for cheque..its ok with me now also if they dont give experience letter nd all but my concern is PF here. Please suggest.

That is completely wrong.
Please refer to previous discussion on the subject.
There are procedure provided for transfer and withdrawal without approval of employer.
