Contract Labours Eligible For EPF On Basic+VDA (or) Only Basic

I am currently employed at Power Distribution Company Limited. In our organization, contract labor is sourced through private agencies, and they receive Basic Wages along with VDA. With the recent increase in the EPF limit from Rs. 6,500/- to Rs. 15,000/-, I have a query regarding the EPF calculation. Should the EPF calculation be based on Basic + VDA or solely on the basic amount?

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide clarification on this matter.

EPF calculation is to be done on Basic + VDA, not only on the basic amount.

The PF amount will be deducted on the Basic + DA amount, and its maximum limit is up to Rs. 15,000/- (Basic + DA).
