What Documents Should I Include in a Joining Kit to Comply with Labor Laws?

Hi,

I am working in an outsourcing company. It would be very helpful if anybody could suggest to me what documents I should attach for the joining kit to ensure compliance under the CLRA Act, Shop Act, ESI Act, PF Scheme, Gratuity Act, Bonus Act, etc.

Roshan,

I don't think any act is linked with joining kit. Normally, maximum never gives a joining kit except for a pen, notepad, PF forms, etc. If any act is involved, please do let me know.

In my company, we are giving a good quality spiral binding book, 1 pen, 1 pencil, eraser, sharpener, stapler, pin, punch, 1 calculator, PF nomination form, office extension list, employee handbook, etc. Rest all you can coordinate with him on a one-to-one basis like about his email ID, his v-card, etc.

I would like to know about Statutory forms required to attach with the joining kit, like form 1 for ESI, form 2 for PF, etc.

Dear Jaya Shree,

For new joiners, we have to provide the following documents as part of their joining formalities:

1) Form 1: ESI declaration forms if the candidate is appointed below a salary of 10,000 rupees per month.
2) Form 2: PF nomination forms.
3) Form 13: For transfers, if the candidate wishes to transfer their previous accumulation to the present establishment.
4) Form 11: For candidates who choose not to contribute to PF.
