Need Help Crafting a Letter to Pay Instead of Giving Full Resignation Notice?

Winston92
I need a sample letter of willingness to pay in lieu of notice. In my appointment letter, I am required to provide two months' notice if I decide to tender my resignation. However, I would prefer to give only one month's notice. I am seeking a sample letter expressing my willingness to pay in lieu of the full notice period. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Resignation Letter Format

To,

The Manager-HR,

[Name & Address of the company]

Dear Sir,

Subject: Tendering Resignation for My Post - Reg

Reference: My Appointment Letter Dated [Insert Date]

With reference to the above, it is humbly submitted that I was appointed as [position] to work at your HO/Branch Office at the above-mentioned address effective [insert date]. Since then, I have been working with your company up to the expectations of my superiors, and there have been no negative remarks about my performance and conduct.

However, due to some personal problems/a better offer elsewhere, I have decided to tender my resignation from my current position in our company. As per clause [mention clause number] of my appointment letter as cited in the above reference, I am required to provide a notice period of two months. Nonetheless, I would like to request relief from your company after serving a one-month notice. Given the circumstances, I kindly request permission to work for one month during the notice period and agree to pay an amount in lieu of the second month's notice.

Therefore, I request permission to resign from my job at our company. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all my superiors, colleagues, and subordinates who have extended their kind cooperation during my tenure with the company.

Regards,
