How Can I Change the Gender of an IP in the ESI Portal? Seeking Guidance and Options

Hi all, please guide me on how to change the gender of IP in the ESI portal. Is it possible from my end, and if not, how can I do it from any other source? Please do respond.

Procedure to Update IP Details:

1. Log in to the ESIC portal.
2. Click on the "Update IP Details" link.
3. Enter the employer code in the "Employer Code" field.
4. Enter the insurance number in the "Insurance Number" field.
5. Click on the "View" button. The IP details will appear.
6. Click on the "Select" button.
7. Click on the "View" button. The declaration form will appear.
8. Change the gender.
9. Select the checkbox for "I accept the terms and conditions."
10. Click on the "Update" button.

This is not working. The option (radio button) to change the gender is deactivated.

Please guide me on how to change the gender of my IP in the ESI portal. The option (radio button) to change the gender is currently deactivated.

It may be deactivated as the ESIC Branch office might have locked it for verification. You need to contact your local ESIC Branch office and speak to the ESIC Manager to unlock the same so that necessary changes can be made.

Sorry to say, but the following things have been changed by the ESIC office:

1. Member name
2. Gender
3. Date of Joining

Please review the updated information accordingly.

To change the gender in ESIC, please guide me as the radio button is not active.
