For every file that is posted on the site, there are individuals requesting the copy to be sent directly to their email. I believe this may be an unnecessary additional task for the original poster.

Why not provide training on how to download directly from the post? It should be simple: Right-click on the posted file, select 'Save target as,' specify the location on your computer where it should be stored, and choose a filename.
