Considering Leaving My Cashier Job Without Notice: Can My Boss Take Legal Action?

I am already in my second month at my job as a cashier since I got hired. Now, I am considering leaving my current job for a better opportunity. I am contemplating leaving without giving notice to my boss as I have signed a contract with them. Can they take legal action against me? Please advise.

Inform Your Employer

In any case, it is better to inform your employer about the new job and get relieved. Take a relieving letter from them. If you are working as a Cashier and leave without informing them, the management, if really nasty, could file a false complaint of misappropriation of cash.
