Bonus Act Amendment Notification

Dear All,
I need clarification on the amendment of Bonus act 2010, whether ceiling is increased from Rs. 3500/- to Rs. 5000/-.
If so can anybody please help me by sending the copy of the approved amendment.

Dear Mr. Ravi,
I think your posting is regarding the salary for bonus calculation. The ceiling salary for bonus eligibility is still continue as Rs. 10,000 and salary for calculation purpose as Rs. 3500.

Is this 10,000 based on his total salary amount or on his basic salary is he eligible for bonus

There has been no recent change in the bonus limit.
It may change with midi government push on about reforms. But don't hold your breadth

Employees whose Basic salary is less than Rs. 10000 is eligible for bonus and the ceiling limit for calculation is rs.3500 only.
