Left Your Job and Need to Redeem Your PF? Here's How to Start the Process

Hi all, I left the job a month ago. I would like to redeem my PF balance. Could you guys please advise me on the process? When and where can I start? How much time will it take?

Please fill out Form 19 and 10C for PF withdrawal and submit it to the employer after 60 days.

I suggest that instead of withdrawing your PF balance, you transfer it to your new employer, as it is always a better option. After all, it is your money. However, if you withdraw before completing 5 years, the amount will be liable to tax.

A person can only withdraw PF when they are without a job at the time of applying for PF withdrawal, and 2 months have passed. In fact, it is clearly mentioned in the PF withdrawal form, i.e., Form 19 as well.
