Seeking Gujarat's Minimum Wage Details for October 2014 to March 2015 – Can Anyone Help?

Please provide me with the minimum wages notification for Gujarat from 01/10/2014 to 31/03/2015 if it has been declared.

Minimum Wage Update and Concerns

V.D.A. has decreased by Rs. 7.80. This means that the minimum wages have decreased by Rs. 7.80 per day. I recall that our Minister, Sh. Saurabh Bhai Patel, mentioned that the minimum wage would increase by Rs. 30 in one quarter. However, the government has done the opposite. In April, the government increased V.D.A. by Rs. 13.60, and now it has decreased by Rs. 7.80.

Minimum Wages Revision in Gujarat

The minimum wages in Gujarat have been revised with effect from 26/12/2014. These are revised every 1st April and 1st October and are valid for 6 months. The last revision details can be found at: http://labour.gujarat.gov.in/Portal/...NIMUM-WAGE.pdf

Hi,

A new minimum wage (Gujarat) circular was released today for the period of April 2015 to Sept 2015. They have increased it by 10.40 Rs for Shop and establishment.

For Zone 1:
- Skilled 293 + 10.40 = 303.40
- Semi-Skilled 284 + 10.40 = 294.40
- Unskilled 276 + 10.40 = 286.40

For Zone 2:
- Skilled 284 + 10.40 = 294.40
- Semi-Skilled 276 + 10.40 = 286.40
- Unskilled 268 + 10.40 = 278.40
