Feeling Stuck After Accepting a Job Offer: Am I Really Hired or at Risk?

k517
Recently (3 weeks ago), I got selected for an IT giant company. I received the CTC breakup from them, and they asked me to confirm my acceptance within one week's time so they could send the final offer letter with the joining date. I accepted their offer, and they were okay with it. However, since then, I haven't heard anything from them, not even replies to my emails. I had rejected other offers. Am I at risk? Am I really selected?

Questions Regarding Offer Process

1. Why do companies these days send the CTC first and the final offer letter with the date of joining after acceptance?
2. Can a person assume that they have received an offer based solely on receiving the CTC breakup?
3. Is there a possibility that a person can be rejected after receiving the CTC breakup?
4. Can a person resign from their current company based on this, or should they wait until they receive the final offer letter?

Please let me know if you need further assistance or clarification on the matter.

You should not quit unless the offer letter is received.
