Can any one help me what is meant By CIG report under Factories act. Please do the needful

There is no term CIG report in Indian Factories Act 1948. From where you got this term?

Yesterday Dy.Cheif Commisioner came to our factory asked to submit CIG report.

You are from which State? Please procure the Bare Act with your States Rules and find out from that. I have not came across this report.
You can ask the official who visited you and demanding this report, as to what is it?

The full form of CIG is complete inspection report. As per quality terms we take if any companies has certified under various quality certification. one of the link is for your info.

in your case he may be asking annual return in form 20. do check with inspector office to be more clear.

With due respect to you Sir, I would like to comment as under:
1. Complete Inspection Report, short form would be CIR and not CIG;
2. It seems to me the link given by you is of European Certification System and not Indian;
3. According to my knowledge, I would repeat, there is no term or abbreviation CIG in Indian Factories Act 1948 and any of the rules their-under;

4. My knowledge may be limited but I would always like to enhance it by reading maximum possible threads in the forum and by taking participation in selective discussions; and
5. I would like you to correct me if I am wrong.

As per factory Act(central) there is no any post of Dy chief commissioner, As per factory act post are Asstt. Director Factory, Dy director factory who come to factory for inspection.
Post of commissioner are in labour department and revenue department(sale tax,income tax)

1. State in which your factory is situated;
2. Nature of activity, product name?
3. Registrations with various authorities in India and Abroad, if any.
Your response will help us to find out answer to your query. Best way, I repeat, the Authority who asked this report, you please go and ask him and share with us. Find out who is that Authority. I am sure, he is not from Factory Inspectorate.
