Thank you for the excellent post. The attributes of a Leader and Boss have been brought out succinctly, and your effort is laudable. I wish to present my views as under.

SLIDE 3 THIRD BULLET POINT

“Leader becomes a not-so-pleasant person who creates a not-so-enjoyable work environment.” This view is not palatable. In my view, a ‘Leader is always looked forward to by his team, and people enjoy working for the cause the leader stands for.’ Everything would be OK if the word LEADER is replaced by the word BOSS.

FOURTH BULLET POINT

“This brings progress to a screeching halt.” Perhaps this refers to BOSS.

SLIDE 10

“A Boss likes to talk, while the Leader prefers to Listen.” It is also true to say that a Boss likes to talk, while people like their Leader to talk.

SLIDE 14

“A Boss gets lost in process, while the Leader gets absorbed in performance.” A Boss emphasizes results while a Leader remains process-oriented, and Leaders are not afraid of failures.
