Hi, I'm Pintu Chakraborty. I want to know my PF balance. Please send me the procedure on how I can check it or send my balance query to my email id.

Yet, there is no provision to check the balance in the PF account on the website of EPFO. The EPF system will update soon, and then you can check your balances online. Until then, you have to depend on your HR or any EPF personnel.

Dear All,

There is no provision to check your PF balance either in person or through an online method. However, you can check the status of your PF transfer if you have shifted to a new organization and submitted Form 13 there. Please note that you can only check the status of your PF withdrawal if you have resigned and submitted Form 19 & 10C for withdrawal to your old organization. Additionally, you can verify the status of your organization in case anyone has doubts about its registration by quoting the organization's PF code, which will return the establishment name. Keep in mind that for a new organization, it may take some time for the details to appear, and once the returns are filed, the organization name will be displayed.

As per a news item on the internet, the PF system is going online very soon. It will be operational from November onwards. Then, anyone can check the PF status even before leaving the job. If you want to know your EPF balance as of today, there is no ready way of doing so. You have to calculate it yourself! Sorry.

To my knowledge, we can't check our balance online. We can view the balance after receiving the P.F. payslips from the P.F. office every year, upon completing the contribution period. I suggest you inquire with your Finance or HR department; they will provide information about the payslips.

In this regard, you should contact your HR in Mumbai to request the EPF balance details in hard copy.
