So far as I understand, there are specific laws relating to some industries or jobs, such as Sales Promotion Employees and Working Journalists & Newspaper Employees. However, there are no specific laws relating to artisans in specific block-making units in the textiles or garments industry. You can search for the same on the internet if available.
I understand that such artisan employees will be covered under the same laws that cover their fellow employees in any unit. If the unit qualifies as a "factory," then all labor laws applicable to such "factories" apply. In case it is a "shop and commercial establishment," then all labor laws applicable to such units apply.
For example, from the notifications of minimum wages as fixed by the appropriate governments, I believe you can find the minimum wages fixed for artisans, carpenters, casual labor, etc., in garments or textile industries or units if separately classified by the State Government.
You can search and download various labor laws from the website of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Central Government. You can also download other related information and rules from the websites of the Labour Department or Ministry of Labour, State Government of Rajasthan.
