Hi, I joined a new company on 2nd February 2013 and submitted Form No. 13 to transfer my PF from the previous company. My PF amount was transferred successfully, and I received the transfer letter from the PF department. However, when I received the PF contribution slip in this company, I noticed that my current PF number is 216, but the previous PF amount has been transferred to 309, which is incorrect due to a mistake in mentioning the PF number in Form No. 13.

Your previous PF amount was transferred to the wrong account. Therefore, you need to write a letter to the PF office of both companies and request a revised Annual Return (Ann K). Based on the revised Annual Return, the present employer's PF office will credit the amount to your correct PF account. The officer in the PF department told me that it can only be transferred. Now, I want to transfer my previous PF, not withdraw it.
