According to Sales promotion Employees act under,Section 1(4) clearly states that,It shall apply in the first instance to every establishment engaged in pharmaceutical industry.
Banking Sector will not cover under Sales promotion Employees act
I hope you are aware that the act was amended some time back.
Quiet a few industries were covered. I can't find the list, but I don't think banking is in it.
