Frustrated with No Response on F&F Settlement: How Do I Take Legal Action?

It's now 9 months since I left my previous organization. I have written approximately 10 emails subsequently, taken printouts, and sent them via Registered AD regarding the settlement of F&F. The company has not responded to a single email or Registered AD. Finally, I have written to them that if they do not respond to my last letter, I will be escalating the matter to the court of law. Kindly advise on the procedure for approaching them through the court of law.

Approaching the Authority for Salary Disputes

If your salary is lower than the prescribed amount in the Payment of Wages Act, you can approach the authority under the Payment of Wages Act. This authority is typically the Assistant Commissioner/Deputy Commissioner of Labour in your area. Otherwise, you will need to go to Civil Court. In any case, send a complaint to the Labour Commissioner, and you will likely hear back from your management.

Dear Dhirenbhai, you have done the basics for a legal battle correctly. Now you can write to the Asst. Labour Commissioner of your area (area of your employer) and request him to intervene. As I told you, it is a battle and is time-consuming and tiresome. Yet, to teach a lesson and to prevent the employer from playing similar mischief with others, you may fight.

Dear friends, I was working with a subcontractor on a project procured through a tender process without any PF and other amenities. I always didn't receive my salary on time; sometimes, it took 2 months to get paid. At the end of the project, my contractor instructed me to complete my work and finalize the project, promising that I would receive two months' salary afterward. However, after the project concluded, I have been trying to contact him, but he is not responsive. I then reached out to the main contractor, who also ignored my attempts. Please suggest what I should do.
