Seeking Fresh Ideas for Employee Engagement: What Performance Indicators Would You Add?

shallubatra85@rediffmail.com
Dear Seniors, I am working with a manufacturing organization and seeking a few ideas for employee engagement activities. Previously, I designed a scheme named Employee Empowerment by incorporating performance indicators such as suggestion data, attendance, quality, productivity, and safety audits, and established evaluation criteria. Now, I am looking to add more performance indicators.

Could anyone please suggest what else I can add to make the scheme more attractive? Please suggest.

Kind regards,
Shalu

You can add 'Employee Expectations from the Management' in the form of a survey as one of the activities to your Employee Engagement List. This is a full-fledged activity:

1. Where you will first have to analyze the areas of concern for your employees/organization.
2. Design a questionnaire based on Point 1.
3. Communicate the objectives effectively to the employees.
4. Analyze the feedback.

The feedback should be bifurcated into different ACTIONABLE AREAS and discussed with Top Management. A timeline should be provided for the ACTIONABLE AREAS to work on, and later employees should be updated on the same. This will build trust in HR and the organization, reduce attrition, and improve productivity.

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your valuable inputs. We are participating in the Great Place to Work survey as well as conducting a questionnaire-based survey. However, I am seeking a few ideas for reward-based initiatives aside from the Suggestion scheme, Productivity award, Attendance award, QCC award, and Monthly best employee award that we already have in place.

I would appreciate any additional reward-based ideas that could be implemented on a monthly basis.

Regards, Shallu
