Dear Sir,
My query related to PF contribution in construction industry.
PF contribution compulsory if Basic + DA salary is less than 15000
If Basic + DA salary is more than 15000, can employee request his employer not to contribute by filling form 11 for exemption.?
The said employee opted not to contribute for PF, as his Basic + DA salary is defined more than 15000, Wat happen if his earned salary is less than 15000 in a month.
Kindly advise
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
1.Para 2 Clause (f) Excluded Employee
(i)an employee who, having been a member of the Fund, withdrew the full amount of his accumulations in the Fund
(ii) an employee whose pay at the time he is otherwise entitled to become a member of the Fund, exceeds [Fifteen Thousand rupees] per month.(in case employee was not member earlier).
Don't say earned salary.
As per Para-2 (f) Pay’ includes basic wages with dearness allowance [retaining allowance (if any) and cash value of food concessions admissible thereon;]
