Dear All, I want to know two things regarding the registration of a Welfare Officer in Maharashtra:

1. What are the benefits after obtaining registration as a Welfare Officer?
2. How much is the fee for the same?

The benefit of getting registered as a welfare officer is that you are only qualified to be appointed in a factory as a welfare officer under the FA and nothing more. The registration fee is very nominal.

You are advised to approach the office of DISH (Factory Inspectorate) at BKC. You should possess the qualifications as prescribed for registration as a Welfare Officer.
