Struggling with Outdated EPF Passbook Info? How to Request an Update Online

Sagar_Shetty
Hi Seniors, I have registered for the EPF member portal to access my online EPF passbook. However, the downloaded EPF passbook only displays data until January 1, 2014, and has not been updated since then. It still shows old information. Is there a way to request a fresh passbook update through the EPF member portal? I would appreciate your guidance on how to obtain the latest updated EPF passbook from the portal.

Regards,
Sagar Shetty

Please visit the site epfindia.gov.in. Go to the Member Portal. Enter your UAN No. to activate the UAN, and you can download your updated Passbook and your UAN Card.

Dear,

I have everything done in EPFO portal. UAN ID submitted a month ago and activated, but when I download the passbook, it only gives the message "Latest passbook will be available only after 48 hours for New UAN login activated members." and "Passbook not available as pertaining to exempted establishment (i.e., Trust)."

Please help with this.

Thank you.

Hello Vicky,

48 hours is the general time for which you would have to wait to get the passbook for downloading from the website (if you have just activated your UAN). For exempted establishments, there would be no PF details with the PF Offices, and you should ask for the statement from your respective Trust or the society that manages the Trust, as it is the case in some organizations.

Good luck,
A.B.

Dear Sagar,

Greetings for the day.

You will have to log in once a week or once a month to view your updated e-passbook.

Hi GITA JAOO,

I have checked my UAN status, and the situation remains the same. Is there any other way to find the updated passbook or balance?
anand.backelal@parker.com
Hi,

In the meantime, you can try "Know your balance" on the EPFO site. You will receive an SMS of your PF balance until 31st March 2015 on your mobile.

Currently, the EPFO site is down for maintenance. It is showing the same for almost everyone. Please wait for a few days and try again; you can surely download the passbook.

Cheers!

I need help from anyone in the group regarding my EPF passbook. I am not able to download it even after logging into the site using my UAN and password. I can access all other details, but when trying to download the EPF, I receive either the error "Service is unavailable due to the heavy workload. Kindly try after some time. Inconvenience is regretted." or "Member Passbook not available." Kindly suggest how to obtain the required details. I have used the following path to log my ticket, but it hasn't helped:

FOR MEMBERS www.epfindia.gov.in >> UAN Services >> UAN Helpdesk (Under MEMBERS Column) or www.epfindia.gov.in >> OUR Services >> For EMPLOYEES >> UAN Helpdesk

I don't see any option to check the status of the ticket I raised. The provided phone number (Helpdesk) is not being answered. I'm stuck and unable to move forward.

Kindly help.
