Hello All, I am working with an engineering and fabrication company as an HR and Admin Executive, but I have not received my salary for three months. I have been regularly asking about the payment, but there has been no response. What action should I take? Thank you.

It is very bad. Do one thing: you can approach the nearest Labour Commissioner's office and also communicate the same matter to your head office people. If you have any doubts, call me once.

The first thing you need to do is start looking for another job. It makes no sense to work for a company that is unable to pay salaries for three months. Even if you seek help from the labor commissioner, it is not a good idea to stay here.

Tell your employer politely that as an HR person, I am maintaining the attendance log, which serves as proof of my work with you. If I go to the labor commissioner with all the necessary documents, severe action will be taken.

You can inquire whether he is paying PF and ESI to all workers. If not, that can serve as additional evidence to strengthen your case for receiving your salary.

As an HR professional, if you explain both positive and negative points to your employer regarding the potential consequences he may face from the labor commissioner if the matter escalates, you will likely receive your salary.
