I have been associated with an engineering college since 2003, serving as a non-teaching faculty member. Every August, increments are allocated to those who maintain close relations with the Principal and the Head of the Department. Unfortunately, no clear criteria are established for this procedure. I am seeking guidance on whether there is any law to prevent such malpractice.
It is noteworthy that not a single letter of appreciation is provided to the recipients of these increments from the Administrative office.
Disparity in Application of Laws
I would like to highlight the disparity in the application of laws for teaching and non-teaching faculty. They are implementing various laws such as the UGC, Pune University Act, and Maharashtra State Act differently for each group.
